The Grand Budapest Hotel

grand-budapest-hotelRelease date: 03/07/2014

Directed by: Wes Anderson

Starring: Ralph Fiennes, F. Murray Abraham, Edward Norton, Mathieu Amalric, Saoirse Ronan, Adrien Brody, Willem Dafoe, Léa Seydoux, Jeff Goldblum, Jason Schwartzman, Jude Law, Tilda Swinton, Harvey Keitel, Tom Wilkinson, Bill Murray, Owen Wilson, Tony Revolori

Review: It is a melancholy story set in a whimsical and aesthetically pleasing background about turbulent times. This movie is told from the perspective of an aging author recalling how he came about the idea for his book, The Grand Budapest Hotel, which is from the memories of the owner Zero Mustafa, whom the author met on his first and only trip to the hotel (a few decades prior) of the namesake to the novel.

Ardency Inn: ‘Essex’ Americana Natural Lip Color Pencil

collage

BRAND: Ardency Inn

NAME: ‘Essex’ Americana Natural Lip Color Pencil

COST: $23.00 at Sephora

REVIEW:

  • It glides on easy
  • Good color pay off
  • Will not dry out your lips
  • Lasts a while without foundation/powder/primer, even longer with foundation/powder/primer

BUY IT OR NOT: Yes, even though it is a bit pricey. It is a great product for the nude lips look without the drying out effects that other lipsticks have.

IMG_3553(I would normally wear this with a chocolate brown lipliner then top it off with a light pink lip gloss to create a semi ombre effect and to add dimension to my lips.)

A combination of the questions I received:

REVIEW:

  • It is a highly pigmented, shimmery loose powder
  • It did not give me any irritations.
  • It has no weird perfume/odor.
  • Applies like a dream and blends easily.
  • The uses are extremely versatile. It can be used on the eyes, lips and just about anywhere else on the body.

BUY IT OR NOT: Yes! I usually do not buy loose eyeshadows but this was limited edition and I wanted to give loose eyeshadows another try. So well worth the purchase and I love it as an eyeliner when applied wet.
